The final Pink to Black concert on April 5th for the Winter/Spring series! Featuring Pink Fuzz for a grunge city inspired evening. Our last show sold out so make sure to get your tickets before they’re gone! Pink Fuzz is a brother/sister-led three-piece out of Denver made up of singer/guitarist John Demitro, and singer/bassist LuLu Demitro. Pink Fuzz came to fruition at the end of 2017. Quickly picking up steam and wanting to expand out of Denver, Pink Fuzz started touring extensively. Creating a DIY circuit throughout the country, they’ve built a grassroots fanbase that has anxiously been awaiting new releases. Finally, 4 years after their newest release, the band is putting us on track for a new album, produced by Kevin Mckeown (Black Pistol Fire) and mixed by Alain Johannes (Queens of the Stone Age, Chris Cornell, PJ Harvey, Arctic Monkeys). This will be their strongest body of work they’ve put out yet. Their latest singles can be found on all streaming platforms with a full album expected summer of 2025.

Roma Ransom is a local’s favorite duo. Don’t miss out, each time they have played at El Dorado they have people dancing in the bar and overflowing to the street! Great music should do three things- connect you to the past, inspire you to envision the future, and find you wholly in the present moment. Roma Ransom does all three. Their repertoire includes old-time traditional ballads like Shady Grove and St.James Infirmary as well as sounds from European cultures, mainly that of Romania (hence the duo's name) yet the music of Roma Ransom is distinctly their own. The sultry sweetness of Grace Easley on vocals paired with the couple's vast instrumental array combine to form a style that can fit the mood for any setting. The couple was trained classically from an early age, (Grace on violin/viola, Gordon on guitar) making them an excellent choice for weddings and banquets in addition to their usual venues, namely restaurants, coffee shops and pubs.

Pink to Black is back March 22nd! Featuring Tatanka for an Island inspired evening. Our last show sold out so make sure to get your tickets before they’re gone! Tatanka encapsulates the heavy roots rumble of the Caribbean while maintaining the pop sensibilities of the dance-oriented electronic sounds from the Britannica-American reggae scenes. These sounds are what fueled the group’s self-titled album, ’Tatanka’. Written over the span of a year and a half, Tatanka recorded their self-titled album at Imperial Sound in San Diego. Reggae rocker Ted Bowne from PASSAFIRE and roots magician The Maad T-Ray of Tribal Seeds feature on a counter-culture wake up call entitled “The Yard”. Jamaican sing-jay Triston Palmer is heard on a bouncy number labeled “Give Green”. The tune pays homage to never giving up and believing in yourself. E.N Young of Tribal Seeds can also be heard throughout the album. The album debuted at #1 on the iTunes reggae charts and #4 on Billboard’s reggae charts. The positive lyrics and heavy sounds garnered radio air-play all around the globe.

El Dorado and Thunder River Theatre Company are excited to bring you our newest venture. To kick off the Pink to Black experience, we are featuring Triptides. They headlined at Mountain Fair this summer and are back in Carbondale for more fun.

Over the last fourteen years and dozens of albums and singles, cosmic LA rockers Triptides have traversed a kaleidoscopic musical landscape of psychedelic rock, Laurel Canyon folk, and spaced-out jazz pop — but each track can be traced back to the group’s leader, Glenn Brigman’s unique ability to craft and explore a seemingly infinite number of dimensional melodies and harmonies.

With every line of Brigman’s airy vocals that dance across the tape and into the speakers, stoners, trippers, and lovers alike are transported to a sweet and familiar place, lifted by chiming guitars, hypnotic drums, glittering pianos, and hallucinogenic fuzz.

Each Triptides recording is a personal reflection, an unexpected evolution, and honest testament to The Song. And the next one will be no different.
