This Season

Welcome back to our third season of Pink to Black for 2026/2027. We are stoked to announce some of our biggest artists thus far. Starting the season with Western Medicine, Swinging from powerful harmonies and distortion to acoustic guitars, brushes and tender lap steel melodies, LA-based Western Medicine paints a vivid yet bittersweet image of their upbringing on Colorado’s western slope. Whether they're playing festival stages, honky-tonk bars, or on your truck's stereo, this 6-piece outfit will put on a heartfelt show you'll never forget. Deadtronica is the December show with Emmy winning guitarist/ producer Cloudchord. The duo merges the improvisational spirit of the Grateful Dead with the pulsating energy of electronic dance music. The acid test ethos to dance floor bangers, hear the legendary compositions re-imagined through a new lens. Experience the Dead, wired for the future. Finally Rattlesnake Milk, who opened for Charlie Crockett at Red Rocks last year, are returning to Carbondale on January 9th for the final close out show of Pink to Black. From the southern plains of Texas, Rattlesnake Milk summons the sound of the prairie, mimicking the howl of coyotes and the pulsing rhythm of a lonesome junk train. While farming cotton for a family friend, Lou Lewis found inspiration to record an eight-song demo listening to the classics played on KDAV 1590AM in the empty flatlands of his hometown. Those demos paid homage to Lou’s favorite Dust Bowl migrant songs and haunted melodic gems from the 50s and 60s. Now, with the help of Corey Alvarez, and Andrew Chavez, Rattlesnake Milk captures the ephemeral soundscape of the Texas panhandle in the studio and on the stage.
