Pink to Black is a collaborative winter concert series from El Dorado and Thunder River Theatre, brining unique live music experiences to carbondale during the fall/winter season. The series strengthens community connections, support local culture, and creates vibrant opportunities for people to gather, connect, and dance. A portion of each show’s proceeds goes back to TRTC’s Mission: By engaging artists and audiences, Thunder River Theatre Company explores the human experience through inspired theatre and innovative artistry.
This Season
We’re stoked to announce some of our biggest artists yet, kicking off the 2026/2027 season with Western Medicine, with opener Roma Ransom, on Saturday, October 3rd.
Swinging between powerful harmonies and distortion, acoustic guitars, brushes, and tender lap steel melodies, LA-based Western Medicine paints a vivid yet bittersweet picture of their upbringing on Colorado’s Western Slope. Whether they’re playing festival stages, honky-tonk bars, or through your truck stereo, this six-piece outfit delivers a heartfelt show you won’t soon forget.

Closing out the series on January 9th is Rattlesnake Milk, fresh off a sold-out U.S. tour and their first-ever Red Rocks appearance last summer with Charley Crockett. Returning to Carbondale with opener Tommy the Animal, Rattlesnake Milk summons the sound of the prairie, mimicking the howl of coyotes and the pulsing rhythm of a lonesome junk train.
